Comandancia Genera is the building of the Police Headquarters in Havana. It looks spectacular like an old Spanish fortress, although it was built in 1939. It was constructed in the place of an old Spanish fort – Bastion de San Telmo – near the entrance to Old Havana and meant to look like the city gates.
