Cuba: Havana – El Capitolio (Revisited)

El Capitolio is an almost exact replica of the Capitol building in DC (just a little bit taller, by design), it was actually modeled over Pantheon in Rome and built between 1927 and 1929. It was the seat of the Cuban government until the revolution, and is the Academy of Sciences since. One of the most impressive buildings in Havana, it yields iconic pictures with old classic cars all around. The building is recently renovated and looks spectacular at night.
