Denmark: Rosenholm Castle
Rosenholm Castle aka Rosenholm Slot is a fairytale castle that is perfectly preserved and located north of Aarhus. The castle was founded in 1559 and constructed took until 1607 to complete in its present form, inspired by the Italian Renaissance style. It was built by the Rosenkranz family, who remain in possession of it to this day – it’s Denmark’s oldest family-owned castle.
