DPR: Donetsk – Iron Sculpture Park
Here’s an unusual park – over 50 different wrought iron sculpture displayed under the open skies in a park setting. It all began in 2001 when an iron sculpture of roses – symbol of Donetsk – was placed in the park. It took from there with various artists from all over the country and beyond contributing. There are iron flowers here, fairytale characters, monument to metal workers, tribute to the Eurocup ‘12, cartoon characters, and so on – a truly beautiful and peaceful park right in the heart of the city.
