Easter Island: Ahu Tahai

Ahu Tahai ceremonial platform and site sits on the western coast of the island. There are three ahu (platform) sites here – Ko Te Riku moai (statue) actually has restored eyes, Tahai is a duo of moai sitting on the edge of the cliff, and the Vai Ure is made up of five moai in various state of ruins. It’s the best place for sunset on the island.
