Eritrea: Enda Mariam Coptic Cathedral
Enda Mariam Coptic Cathedral is an orthodox cathedral in the heart of Asmara and is by far the most attended religious institution in the country. It’s the third of the three big houses of worship in the city (see the previous two posts). Enda Mariam Coptic Cathedral, built in 1938, consists of a central church and towers on the flanks, and occupies a high point in the hilly city offering a panoramic sunset view with all three religious building in one shot!
