Ethiopia: Simien Mountains NP – More Birds of Pray
Magestic lemmergeyers weren’t the only birds of pray that showed up for the free goat meat we served – a bunch of rare or endemic carnivores flew on for the feast. Egyptian vultures, black hooded vultures, white-backed vultures, endemic thick-billed ravens, tawny eagles, and even one bullet-fast peregrine falcon showed up to be photographed! I am not turning into a birder I hope.
