Fiji: Mamanuca Islands – Cruising Lower Mamanuca Islands
Lower Mamanuca islands are within only an hour from the ‘mainland’ Fiji and are peppered with the most expensive resorts (like Likuliku, Castaway, Mana, etc.) as well as crowds of people. There are about 20 islands in the group but only 7 are visitable, and the rest are just sand bars. The resorts are lux but it’s crowded with daytrippers from Nadi so privacy is limited and enjoyment is questionable. Cruising the islands is filled with beautiful panorama of blue and azure water and resorts with overwater bungalows.
