France: Amiens – Quartier Saint-Leu

Amiens is a beautiful city centered around the cathedral, but the most happening neighborhood is the Quartier Saint-Leu. Looking quite a bit like Amsterdam, it’s a medieval area of old half-timbered houses, canals, and narrow streets. It all terminates in Quai Bélu – a waterfront strip of cafes and restaurant, all with a superb view of the cathedral and the sunset.
