France: Beauvais – Beauvais Cathedral Astronomical Clock

Cathedral Inside the stunning Beauvais Cathedral, there is also an amazing 19th century astronomical clock – 12m/35ft tall and 6m/19ft wife – that consists of 90,000 individual parts and has 52 dials. The clock was built built between 1865 and 1868. The 52 dials show sun and moon rises and settings, the position of the planets of the Solar System, current time in 18 cities around the world, and the tidal times. Also – the Golden number of the Easter!
