France: Paris – Exploring by Hop-on/off Bus
I’ve never done the double-decker tourist bus experience so this was a trial (I have explored Paris before on foot). In two hours or so you get to see most of the Paris main attractions, but I wouldn’t really call it sightseeing – you can hardly take pictures, you see mostly traffic, and you are surrounded by mostly lazy and ignorant “tourists” with shopping bags trying to “capture the moment” with their iPhones (often in a selfie format).
