France: Vezac -Jardins de Marqueyssac

Jardins de Marqueyssac is a spectacularly manicured gardens surrounding a 19th century Chateau de Marqueyssac with stunning panoramas of not one, not two, but three other medieval castles – Chateau de Baynac, Chateau de Fayrac, and Chateau de Castelnaud (a bit of a chateau overload in here). The pristinely pruned gardens have 6km of trails through over 150k hand-pruned boxwood trees, plus waterfalls, belvederes, rock gardens and green terraces. Oh, and there is a dinosaur skeleton, and there was a tiny bat hiding behind the dinosaur sign!
