France: Usse Chateau
Chateau d’Usse is yet another medieval castle built in 11th century and then rebuilt and expanded over and over as it passed through hands of various French nobility (just like any other chateau in Loire Valley). This one also looks like a fairy tale with compact turreted towers and conical roofs. The interior has even mannequins in period costumes re-enacted scenes of posh life. The gardens just in front are spectacular as well as is a chapel located outside the castle.
