French Polynesia/Bora Bora: Matira Beach

Matira is the largest and only beach on Bora Bora. It’s a 2km strip of white sand curving around the southern part of the island. While the are some hotels at the far end of it, most of the beach is wide open for the public and views of the blue lagoon and the shimmering sands is just spectacular.
