French Polynesia/Huahine: Anini Marae
Anini Marae (Temple) is located at the very south of the island of Huahine, with some of the stunning lagoon views around. It is dedicated to Oro (god of war) and Hiro (god of sailors). Anini Beach, which the marae sits on overlooks one of the few natural channels out of the coral lagoon between two motus (islets) just offshore.
