Germany: Hanau – Market Square
Hanau is a town about 30km from Frankfurt known as the birthplace of Brothers Grimm – Jakob & Wilhelm. A monument proudly commemorates this in front of the New Town Hall (Neustädtisches Rathaus) on the main town square. But much more interesting was the market of local farmers going on here – fresh berries, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and so many chanterelle mushrooms!
