Greece/Corfu: Kassiopi
Time to explore beyond the town of Corfu. Kassiopi is a small fishing village in the northeast of the island. The town actually dates back to the 3rd century BC and then was a major Roman and Byzantine outpost, there is a ruined fortress that stands on the headland above the town. The harbor area is very pretty with colorful houses and a lot of waterfront restaurant and bar. A bit further from the village, there are several very pretty beaches and a beautiful coastline.
