After the long hike at Segelsalskapet, we cruised the long Kong Oscar Fjord toward the outer Greenland Coast (en route to a next major fjord system further south). Kong Oscar Fjord is one of the major fjords in the Eastern Greenland, starting from Ella Island and running 20km southeast toward the Greenland Sea, it’s quite a wide fjord 5-10km across. Beautiful snow-covered mountains all along and a lot of giant icebergs – quite a few glaciers calve into this fjord.
