Hawaii: Big Island – Red Lava at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

A real adventure is getting close to the red flowing lava in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island. While the flows constantly change, if you are lucky you can get to the closeup of the slow moving hot red lava, a river of molten rock. Even more spectacular are the places where the lava drops in the ocean and explodes like a bomb.
