Iceland: Ferry to Westfjords

To completely explore all parts of Iceland, one needs to get to Westfjords, a peninsula full of fjords and mountains, way off the beaten path in the northwest corner of the country. The ferry itself leaves from another peninsular to the south – Snaefellsness. The ride takes 2.5 hours and involves passing quite stormy ocean, with the passengers being warned about where to find the puking bags.
