Iceland: Gullfoss Waterfall (Revisited)

Beautiful in summer in full flow and surrounded in wildflowers, Gullfoss is one of the mostpowerful waterfalls in Iceland – more then 150 cubic meters of water drops through a series of ledges and then two huge drops into a deep crevice that lies perpendicular to the river flow. There are two approaches to viewing the waterfall – one from below along the river flow and one from the cliffs above. Gullfoss is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland.
