Iceland: Kolufossar Falls & Kolugljúfur Canyon
Iceland is packed with spectacular waterfalls, one of them being Kolufossar in the north of the country at the base of the Vastness Peninsula. The river Vididalsá cut a deep canyon called Koluglifur and cascades down in a terraces that you can explore from various vantage points. It’s often overlooked and missed by tourists, but it’s quite close to the Ring Road and the setting of an open plane is panoramic and gorgeous.
