Iceland: Hvitserkur

Hvitserkur is trully stunning and spectacular – it’s a large basalt seastack that stands in the water just off the coast of the Vastness Peninsula and also has a double arch in it. Several species of birds, mostly gulls and fulmars, nest on the rock. At low tide, you can walk on the black sand beach all the way up to Hvitserkur and explore it from all sides. The seastack is 15m high.
