India: Pench NP – Game Drives

Pench National Park is located in the heart of India in Madhya Pradesh and is one of the three prime parks to see tigers in the wild. Similar to African safaris, game drives here start with sunrise at 5:30am until around 11, and then again 3-6:30pm in the afternoon. The focus is primarily on the elusive tigers but there is also a lot of other unique mammals – massive gaur (world’s largest wild cattle), spotted deer aka chital, sambar deer, jackets, monkeys, and many others – all roaming in the dry deciduous forest.
