Indonesia: Java – Sunrise at Gunung Bromo

Mount Bromo should be included in the list of the world’s natural wonders. The views of the steaming volcano and caldera are beyond stupendous, especially when you come here at sunrise when the fog floats over the valley and the smoke coming from the volcano is visible. The viewpoint is located on Mount Pananjakan and the super-panoramic view includes of Mount Bromo’s crater, Mount Batok, towering and smoldering Mount Semeru, and the Segara Wedi aka Sea of Sands in the valley below.
