Kenya: Aberdare National Park

Aberdare Mountains are second tallest after the amount Kenya. Unlike the latter, these mountains from a long north-south range reaching nights between 8-14000 feet. There are no sharp peaks or rocky outcrops, but rather a high altitude plateau, the Moorlands. It’s foggy, rainy, wet, cold and very desolate but is beautiful for trekking at high altitude with bizarre plants and panoramic 360 views. It’s a long and strenuous hike up to the plateau since the roads don’t let vehicles climb up. And you go with armed ranger – in case you run into large wildlife.
