The dish that stood out by a wide margin was the Masai beef prepared in Masai Mara over open fire – just totally insane and perhaps the best beef ever – served with ugali, enkiringo, and kochumbari (also all local specialties). The Indian Ocean offered plenty of fresh seafood – lobster, tiger shrimp, barracuda fish, and so on. And let’s not forget the pigout at the famous Carnivore Restaurant! Also great dry-aged beef steaks and burgers, all accompanied by local beers and gin & tonics.
