Sharq Fish Market is easily in top 5 of the best fish markets in the world in my book – well-organized, clean, and overloaded with all sorts of fish and seafood products. Located in a spaciously beautiful new building near Dhow Harbor, there are rows after rows of stalls of the freshest fish and shellfish displayed almost like in a museum over mountains of ice. The sellers are very courtesies and smiling, the walls are covered with sea-themed ceramics, and it’s a total sensory overload with all the fish variety.
