Laos: Wat Si Saket in Vientienne

Moving on south to Vientienne. The most important temple in this city otherwise filled with temples is Wat Si Saket. The five tiered roof central temple building is surrounded by a walled compound containing 2000 ceramic Buddhas in its walls. There are plenty of other Buddha statues on top of that. At any given moment – there are more Buddhas here than visitors.
