Lebanon: Baatara Gorge Waterfall

This place is surreal and incredible – a waterfall plunging 255 m (837 ft) though three-tiered sinkhole. The sinkhole is also known as the Cave of Three Bridges for the three levels of openings in the natural bridges. The waterfall is usually very thin during the dry season, but picks up volume during the spring melt. We got a bit unlucky with the rainy and overcast weather, but the hike to and the place itself were beyond stupendous and a true natural wonder.
