Lord Howe Island: Lord Howe Island Food Recap
Lord Howe is a luxury tourist destination for Australians. It’s like bora bora but with all the hiking and nature and water sports and excursions. Flights are not cheap because planes are small (only 9 rows) since the runway is short. So translate that to food and the couple restaurants that exist here are rather expensive but offer incredible prepared and delicious local food. King fish is the only fish available here that is locally caught, the rest is flown from Australia – so naturally kingfish was the only thing I ate. And Lord Howe even makes their own beer – Lord Howe Phasmid (phasmid is the name of the insect – see previous post).
