Madagascar: Oustaleti Chameleons at Anja Reserve
Oustaleti chameleon is known as the Malagasy Giant Chameleon and is one of the largest. Although there were adolescents quite small as well. Males are grey and don’t change color, females are much much smaller and do change color. The most amazing part was finding a perfectly preserved skeleton of a dead chameleon even with his 6-inch tongue sticking out as if the animal died in the middle of a meal.
