Maldives: Sunrise Line Fishing

You can also do line fishing at sunrise from a traditional Maldivian slow moving boat. You just attach a piece of bait to a hook and throw it overboard. No fishing rod, nothing else. Surprisingly, such a simple concoction yields a lot of fish – grouper, snapper, and even some less edible species like trigger fish and suckerfish (the latter sticks to any surface). And naturally, you get to eat all this fish freshly grilled or steamed.
