Mexico/Baja Sur: Loreto Bay NP – Isla Danzante
Bahia de Loreto National Park (aka Loreto Bay NP) protects not only whale and marine life rich waters of the central sea of Cortez, but also 5 large uninhabited islands with unique flora and spectacular beaches and cliffs. We landed on one of them – Isla Danzante – for a short hike. Amazing landscapes of desolate beach, cacti everywhere, and total desolation.
