Mexico/Baja Sur: Sierra de La Giganta Mountains
Some serious mountains rise right behind Loreto and run along the coast of the eastern Baja California Sur – Sierra de la Giganta. The highest point is Cerro de la Giganta at 3,858 feet (1,176 m) in elevation, located right behind Loreto. The drive through the mountains is spectacular with insane panoramas of cacti covering all the mountain slopes.
