Mexico: Southern Mexico Food Recap

Southern Mexican states – Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Chiapas! Oaxaca is famous in Mexico for its unique and very diverse cuisines and mezcal. You can probably spend weeks tasting unique Oaxacan dishes and limitless menu, where pretty much everything is different from the rest of Mexico – starting from their own mole varieties to pizza-like tlayudas. The giant Chiapas has a huge diversity of dishes as well – from hearty soup in the cold and mountainous San Cristobal to the shrimp and more traditional quesadillas of the lowlands and jungle near Palenque. And Tabasco is all about coastal seafood.
