Mongolia: Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
Enough of cities, time to get back to nature – first on the agenda is Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, a spectacular mountainous park to the east of Ulaanbaatar. The landscape of wide open steppe and mountains covered in most insane yellow foliage colors – almost like they are on fire. Hiking here is spectacular as you can climb many massive boulders for even more panoramic and stupendous views! The color combinations seemed surreal at time – super bright yellows with verdant greens against deep blue sky.
