Mongolia: Siberian Larch Trees

Siberian larch (Larix sibirica) is a tree most common to the northern Mongolia and southwestern Siberia. Larch is a unique tree, being coniferous (needles instead of leaves) and deciduous (dropping foliage in the fall). It’s an amazing sight to see a pure larch forest – all lit up in almost a rainbow of colors from vibrant greens to super bright yellows to dark orange to bare black.
