Montenegro: Kotor Serpentine
Kotor Serpentine is a narrow mountain road that descends from the Lovcen mountains down into the Bay of Kotor. There are 25 switchbacks on this single lane track so expect major mini-traffic blocks when two cars can’t bypass each other, or when some idiot decides to drive this with a trailer the views are stupendous done onto the Bay of Kotor in all its panoramic glory, but there aren’t many places to pull out. Closer to the top, there are two overlooks, where local entrepreneurs built a cafe and try to charge money just for using the overlook. After politely informing them to go f**k themselves, proceed to enjoy the views.
