Myanmar: Other pagodas in Yangon

Yangon is chock full of pagodas and temples, but three of them really stand out (besides the previously posted Shwedagon and Botatuang). Sule Pagoda is the oldest in Yangon preceding the more famous Shwedagon. Sule stands in the very heart of the city, close to Independence monument and was central to the location of the popular uprising in 1988 and the saffron revolution against junta in 2007. Another attraction is Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda housing a highly-revered Reclining Buddha that is 66m/217feet long with massive glass blown eyes and elaborate gold plated feet soles. And the third one is the Ngahtatgyi Pagoda with a Sitting Buddha that is 14m/46 feet high.
