Nauru: Coral Shelf & Sea Urchins
The coral shelf rings all around the island of Nauru and during the low tides gets fully exposed to where you can walk all the way out to the shelf edge where the waves crash against it. The closer to the water – the more wildlife you can see in the exposed tidal pools – multiple species of sea urchins, sea cucumbers, crabs, and more sea urchins. Absolutely spectacular!
