Netherlands: Rotterdam’s Cube Houses
Rotterdam is famous for its futuristic architecture, and the Cube Houses are the most representative of it. The cube houses are tilted 45 degrees and sit on the underlying square pylon. The houses contain three floors: ground floor entrance, living room, two bedrooms, and top floor. The walls and windows are angled at 55 degrees, and about a quarter of the living space is unusable because of the walls are angled.
