New Caledonia: Lifue Island – Jokin Cliffs

Lifou Island is famous for some of the most pristine and spectacular reefs in the Pacific. Located on the north side of the island, Jokin Cliffs are sheer limestone dropoffs with some sea caves and rock walls, all surrounding a calm Jinek Bay with absolutely surreal reef system and ultra-transparent and crystalline clear waters. You literally can observe dozen and dozens of colorful parrotfish from the cliff tops. The cliffs tower to 60m / 185 ft in places. There is also some endemic flora clinging to the cliff crevasses.
