New Zealand: Rotorua – Lady Knox Geyser
Lady Knox Geyser is the most famous geyser in Rotorua area as it erupts every day clockwise at 10:15am, shooting hot water up to 20 meter / 65 feet into the air (the eruption is somewhat educed with a soap solution by a park ranger). The eruption then reaches full force and last a whole hour of spectacular water fountain shooting straight up into the air. Silica-rich water has built up a cone around the geyser over the years.
