North Korea: Eating dog soup (Bosintang)

This post may upset people – so please don’t unfriend me over this! Led by the “when in Rome do as Romans”, I ventured to try bosintang aka dog soup. Firstly, only a special breed of dogs raised on farms is used for this. Secondly, it was totally delicious and didn’t taste like chicken, meat was soft and lean. And thirdly, with all the spice addition and herbal infusions – this was an absolute party in your mouth type of experience. Sorry, Rex!
