Portugal: Cabo de San Vicente

Cabo de San Vicente is the southwesternmost point of Portugal and of mainland Europe. The steep sea cliffs rise nearly vertically from the Atlantic Ocean to a height of 75-85 m here, creating awesome coastline panoramas both north and east. The Lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente, built in 1846, is also their major attraction here, although it is currently under repairs. The wind slamming hard here so hold on to your hats!
