Another absolutely spectacular piece of the Algarve coastline is around Ponta de Piedade. Besides the 1913 Ponta da Piedade Lighthouse, the promontory here consists of a series of yellow and ochre colored cliffs and headlands and seastacks with sea caves with azure waters around them. Several paths leads to precipitous viewpoints above the vertical cliffs with panoramas opening along the entire coastline.
