Saint Helena: Green Turtles
If birds, dolphins, and a whale shark wasn’t enough, we also got to see green turtles mating. Green turtles (Chelonia mydas) are the most common around Saint Helena. We watched the mating ceremony for good 15 minutes, seemingly oblivious to the boat with few dozen people staring at them, cameras clicking. Maybe the green turtles were exhibitionists!?
