Continuing with the exploration of the spectacular Eshaness Peninsula – another piece of absolutely stunning coastline is off the coast of Hillswick Nest, a group of seastacks and pillars known as the Drongs. Hiking across trailless terrain toward the cliffs, you eventually get to the very edge of sheer drops with the panorama of multiple seastacks that look like the Utah/Arizona iconic pillars but in water. As a bonus, there were several Great Skua birds nesting near the cliffs – large seabirds reaching 125–140 cm (49–55 in) in wingspan.
