Sicily: Valley of the Temples at Agrigento
Valle de Templi is really not a valley but a series of 7 Ancient Greek temples on the ridge overlooking the sea. Four of then are in spectacular condition and the setting is just fantastic with sea, skies, and mountains in the background. Personally, I think these are better than some in Greece proper. This complex of temples was built in 4-5th century BC. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
